Last chance! After previous successful editions during Museum Night in November and the Christmas holidays in December, the wax-dipping station opens again on 30 March. Come to the Oude Kerk to make your contribution to one of Meredith Monk's special installations. Have your object dipped in liquid beeswax and add it to the artwork. The beeswax protects the object from weathering and aging, a tangible reminder of your life and this time.
Together with others, you will contribute to the creation of a new artwork, a unique Amsterdam variation on the iconic artwork American Archaeology by world-renowned artist Meredith Monk. The work is part of the retrospective exhibition of Monk's work on display at the Oude Kerk until 14 April. Read more about the exhibition here.
