Second gathering in a series of eight on the concept of doubt in the world we live in. In this circle joined by Ben Dragstra, who works at the Salvation Army, we will discuss the role of doubt in contemporary society, existence & neighbourhood through various reflections.
For this gathering, members of the Oude Kerk congregation discuss the meaning of doubt in relation to religion from their personal experience. The Oudekerkgemeente is a Protestant community that meets in the Oude Kerk on Sundays. Space for doubt is important to the community and differences in how people live, believe and love are embraced. Based on these experiences, we will discuss the place of doubt in religion.
