Monuments #12: Simon Johnson

Young organist Simon Johnson (1975) is one of the top church musicians in the UK today. Since 2021, he has been Master of Music of Westminster Cathedral in London. He is also the artistic director of the Westminster Cathedral Choir. Prior to this, he was organist and assistant director of music for St Pauls Cathedral for more than 12 years. A sought-after concert organist, he has played with a number of leading orchestras in London, including at the Royal Festival Hall, and has two solo tours in the United States. He consults worldwide as an organ expert, currently including for St Jude's Cathedral in Lagos.
