In 2019, artist Misha de Ridder (1971) was given the key to the church for a year, allowing him access day and night with his camera. His photos often appear abstract despite capturing the metre-high, white-plastered walls and numerous alcoves in razor-sharp detail. You can see the bristles of paintbrushes, flaking irregularities and dust particles in the stucco. A photo from this series is on display in the Church Wardens’ Room, but where in the church did Mischa de Ridder take this photo?
